Well folks, LinemenInc 2007, Long Beach, is in the can. It was a great camp and a huge success! Over 190 players and coaches from six states and 35 schools attended three days of skill and technique instruction and one-on-one full blown contact. Players enjoyed a coach to player ratio of 1:6 and heard some great speakers talk about subjects relative to high school players.

I would like to first acknowledge and thank Pamela A. Jesse, Coordinator, Conference Services, California State University, Long Beach, and her staff, for an outstanding job of handling our camp and attending to our needs. My hat goes off to all of them.Â

Secondly, we had an great group of coaches that worked their butts off, got the job done and showed great enthusiasm at every practice:Â Coaches Gary Bernardi, UNLV, Todd Howard, UCLA, Art Abreu and Gavino Archuletta, New Mexico Highlands University, Josh Darnell and Montario Witherspoon, Azusa Pacific University, and Gordon Steinman, Menlo College.

I would like to thank the LinemenInc staff, Larry Tabke, Harry Tabke, Jeffrey Tabke, Will Tabke, Samantha Wiley, Mike Wiley and Ray Reinders, for all their hard work and dedication to our program. Without their behind the scene efforts our camp would come to a screaming halt.

Finally, to our high school coaches and players. You guy’s is what this whole thing is about. I hope you all have a great season and return to camp in 2008.

This camp was the best experience I’ve ever had. I can’t wait for the pictures to come out to show my family what I accomplished and my friends, how hard I worked to earn that sword. My inspiration goes to Coaches Gavino Archuletta, Gary Tabke, Dave Reinders. You guys were great and I hope you loved camp as much as i did.

Jared, it was a great pleasure to have you in camp. You are the first sophomore in our history to have earned a sword. It will be interesting to see if you repeat next year…

You are a true gladiator! You worked so hard over those three days to earn that sword! It would not have mattered how many times you had to go on the boards.. You were determined to noticed!
Now you have something to prove this football season, and next year at LinemenInc Camp!

Linemen Inc. was the most intense and fun three days of my life. I really enjoyed all the drills and competitions along with the moving motivational speeches. I appreciate all the time and work the coaches put into putting the camp together.
