Yeah, his footwork is just as bad nowadays....that is why us QB's have learned to make lifetime friends with O-lineman.

When the media comes calling to compliment your game - you accept no compliment, until AFTER covering the names of those up front!

Alhambra High School California had a Scott Lumary at quarterback back in 73-74. Great arm - footwork ? What footwork.

UPDATE ON ABOVE
to parents considering giving their son an edge - I made the right decision to bring my son to the LB camp, even though I was unable to get him a "buddy" to go along, someone he knew. There was camaradie and friends made quickly...sometimes after fighting that friend between planks.
My son started both ways and found his comfort zone at pulling guard. i think there are still remains of a couple DE's who came across the line unprepared to be kicked out.
The chance to go against so many different opponents and condense the learning experience can't be found on the home practice field.
Don't sweat the green either...the payback is an investment quickly appreciated.
All his coaches sought me out and complimented his footwork and attitude...something about the experience helps bring an understanding you need to push harder than the other guy. We will be back in June, ready to ignite the fire needed to kick off an even stronger season.

Scott - what a great endorsement of our program! We're glad to have had a hand in your son's progress and wish him all the best for the coming season. LinemenInc Camps will definitely be returning to Long Beach in 2008. Thank you for your kind words.

It is Sunday June 24 -conclusion of the LB Linemen Inc clinic. My son, 5'10 and 185, 1 year hs O-line experience, completed the camp. It may be a little too early to say, but I (his old man)saw some changes both physical and mental that lead me to believe the camp DEFINITELY impacted him exactly as I had hoped. I know it will jump start his season!
He both kicked butt - and had his own butt kicked. The coaching staff - particularly the New Mexico crew - did a great job. Worth every dime and much more. Thanks. Scott Lumary/Pasadena CA
